BUY THE WINE

Neal Martin: This offers a soft, beguiling, peppermint nose complemented by cèpes and dried herbs. There is real warmth on the nose here. The palate is medium-bodied, with supple, mellow tannins; not a complex Sassicaia, but still exquisitely balanced, with tinctures of toffee and leather and great freshness on the “fluffy” finish—a coda of faint peppermint and mushroom. This is still lovely. 17
