BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Dense, ripe, cedar oak-marked fruit on the nose; a very oak-dry texture round a delicate, scented core fruit and with good, fragrant length. The tannic frame seems rather strong for the fruit—delicacy at core, sinew at the borders. So not sure quite how harmoniously this will age. Will need time, in the context of the vintage. 2015–25? 16+
