Michael Schuster: Lovely ripe fruit and marked pebbly minerality; beautifully constituted, rich, fairly full wine, with a very fine tannin and lively acidity. Sweet-cored and fresh; a delicious dry-yet-ripe claret fruit, long, close-knit and elegant, with a superb crispness and definition; complex, aromatic, complete, almost bitter chocolaty on its very long finish. First-rate La Lagune; should be accessible in the not-too-long term. Intensity without force. 2020–35+. 16.5/17+
