BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Gently minerally nose under the very ripe fruit; full-bodied, finely tannic, no coarseness, and lively acidity to lighten and moderate the weight; brisk, sweet, red-fruit fresh in flavor (from the high proportion of Cabernets), lively, intense, and lightly minerally wine, with good, gentle fruit persistence. Powerful nonetheless, and you do notice the alcoholic warmth and associated slight hardness on the finish. 2018–28+. 15.5/16+
