Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Truly elegant texture, blackberries and red berries, velvety length, beautiful style. This confirms the success of the 2009. 18
Michael Schuster: Super-ripe, sweet, cassis-like nose; full, concentrated, fresh, firmly tannic; intense, almost “strong” in fruit; linear, moderately complex, with good, light length. Some delicacy there but a powerful, chewy wine all the same. Impressive to taste; not so easy to drink. 2018–28+. 16/16.5+
