Michel Bettane: Young golden-green luminous color, delicious nose combining youth and complexity; more subtle “liqueur” than Daëne, refined and built for long aging. Great success. 18

Thierry Desseauve: Deep gold, with light-green nuances. Banana, papaya, and tropical-fruit aromas, very rich body, a lot of sugar; generous but tiring. 16

Michael Schuster: Deep gold; clear honey and Semillon waxiness to smell; very well-balanced, rich, middleweight Sauternes; sweet, generous, long; broad, spicy, and fine, and with excellent aromatic length. A fine Lafaurie—another that is much better than its en primeur showing. Now–2030+. 17.5
