BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane: Golden color, nice but simple nose; lacks freshness, complexity of fruit, and length. Nice but not up to highest standards. 15

Thierry Desseauve: There is a deeper gold, more aged color. Caramelized-apple aromas, large and fat body, voluminous but emphatic wine. Not as pure than the previous ones. 15

Michael Schuster: Mid-gold, already very mature to behold; light, oak-marked nose, where wood still dominates the fruit; medium-full wine with fresh acidity but modest scope; sweet, yes, but without a great deal of complexity; not the class it usually has; nice light length; accessible now with pleasure. Now to 2020+. 16
