Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Exemplary style and balance, elegant tannins, reminiscent of the wonderful 2008. 18

Michael Schuster: Very cabernet to smell and very gravelly; a fresh, concentrated, firmly tannic wine, with a lively acidity; a fine, sweet, fresh ripe fruit, fine if firm tannins, gently minerally in flavor, long to taste and very long to finish. a lovely long-term balance, with all the elegance, finesse, and restraint of fine pessac-Léognan. Excellent graves. 2021– 35+. 17
