Andrew Jefford: Mid- to full gold in color. Soft, ripe, honeyed, pollen-like: very unvarietal, but perhaps a warm site. On the palate, quite artisanal in style—low sulfur? “Natural”? It seems very evolved and not hugely articulate. For me, much the same applies to the palate. It lacks fruit precision and purity, richness (even in dryness), and charm, though there is nothing actually faulty about it. 11
Andreas Larsson: Quite ripe on the nose, with almost tropical-fruit aromas and honey; richly structured on the palate, bone-dry but with plenty of ripe fruit, some smoky and honeyed notes, and fine persistence. 16.5
Stephan Reinhardt: Bright golden color. Very ripe fruit aromas mixed with earthy scents. Pure and rich on the palate; serious wine, expressive, in a rather oxidative style. Very long and complex, elegant. Extremely mineral and a great expression of its place. Vibrant. Thrilling. Powerful but not alcoholic. Great food wine. I would store it for up to ten years. 17.5
