BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Black red; marked oak-spice on blackcurrant—very Mouton—a seductive bouquet in prospect; elegant, harmonious, fleshy balance of moderate concentration and a very fine-textured tannin; dark blackberry/blackcurrant fruit, nice length across the palate and on the finish. Sensual, aromatic, subtly complex Petit Mouton, a lovely second wine for the second year running. All Mouton’s Cabernet Franc went into the second wine, giving it its freshness and aromatic character. 2014–24. 16.5
