Stephen Brook: Piquant apple-and-apricot nose. Fresh attack, with a little C02, a sleek texture, and very ripe fruit. It’s not especially mineral, and there is a slight sweetness that is (just) held in check. It’s a fruit-forward style, perhaps not from an outstanding site, relying on its immediate appeal, which is considerable. Only moderate acidity, so not for long aging. 15

Simon Larkin: On the nose, there is a heady quality to the fruit that seems exotic and ripe. On the palate, I find a muffled, mushroomy quality, as well as shrill, tangy, Starburst-like acidity. There is little elegance here: shrill acid, muffled fruit, modest precision. There is a real dart to the citrussy acidity that invigorates the palate, but little to hold interest. The notable citrussy acidity carries to a very long but one-dimensional finish. 12

Andreas Larsson: A bit unbalanced, to me. Quite bitter, with green fruit, as well as a fair dose of sweetness and a rather flat finish. 8
