BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Dark, brick-edged, mahogany red; light nose, early maturity, ripe, cooked mulberry fruit and mineral aromas; elegantly balanced medium full wine with a lively acidity and light, finely dry tannin; brisk, gravel imbued, deliciously ripe red fruit flavour, quite complex, long and gentle and aromatic within the slightly dry frame, and with excellent fruit and aroma length. Refined, still slightly austere, but complete Les Forts Drinkable already, more pleasure in a few years. 2014-25+
