Michael Schuster: Inky black red; a hint of ‘peppery’ greenness alongside the ripe fruit on the nose; fullish, relatively supple wine in the context of the vintage, an overall soft fruit within a firmly dry, oaky tannin; a mass of very ripe blackcurrant cabernet along with a touch of black olive too; but just lacking the tenacity and complexity of flavour of the best of Cos; good fruit length, but not the extra aromatic spectrum to make it a top class 2000. Plenty of matter, but a touch lacklustre? 2015-30
