Michael Schuster: Dark red; fine, oak-cedary nose; elegantly balanced wine, moderately concentrated, with a slightly dominant dry wood tannin at the moment; sweet, quite rich, yet still delicate Graves in style, gently gravelly, very aromatic, nice length across the palate, and good length of both fruit and aroma to finish, too. A very stylish Smith. Needs time to absorb the tannin but should be very good. 2014–25. 16 +
