BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Very dark red; ripe, almost raisiny fruit to smell, but also a touch woody; concentrated, finely, firmly tannic wine; very ripe fruit core, sweet, pure, long, and satisfying, within a firm dry tannin texture, but complex, complete, and long to finish. A bit overdry from extract and wood to be really harmonious, but a satisfyingly fruit-rich and fine Pomerol. 2018–30+. 17
