BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Dense, soft sweet black cherry and light mineral nose; rich, generous, full-bodied wine, fresh, concentrated, and very finely tannic—a perfect Pomerol balance. Deep, sweet, generous, velvety wine; a lovely fullness and flesh, ripe yet fresh, long and vital across the palate. Long, sweet, flattering, warm, and spicy, and very long to finish; magnificent, ripe, sweet-fruit presence. Just verging on the mawkish? Yet refined alongside the mass of fruit. 2018–30+. 18/18.5
