Tim Atkin: Developed ruby/brick red. Developed nose, too, with some sweet spices, but fading fruit. Palate more harmonious, showing sweet red fruits, medium tannins, and fresh acidity, but I still feel this has seen better days 13
Nicolas Belfrage: Medium-deep, bright. Not particularly expressive nose, displaying tar and blackberry fruit. Quite acidic on palate, firm tannin—but it works—with fruit, though not sweet; showing character. Needs food and preferably a bit more bottle age. Has a certain finesse 15.5
Bruno Besa: Black core to garnet/tawny rim. Open, mature nose, with lively minty character and clean black and red fruit. Balanced palate, with controlled tannins and clean, pristine fruit, long and mineral on the finish. A very balanced, mineral wine 17
