Tim Atkin: Youthful, perfumed Aglianico that is only just beginning to develop. Spicy, peppery, and refreshing, with no obvious oak; savory tannins, and good balance. The emphasis is on fruit and structure here rather than barrels 15.5

Nicolas Belfrage: Deep, youthful color, ruby rim. Plenty of damson and dark cherry on the palate. Mouth-filling and expansive, the sweet fruit nicely balanced by acidity and plenty of ripe tannins. A bit raw now, but it should soften and mellow with time, thanks to quality tannins. Drink now for seven to ten years. Would go well with dark chocolate 16.5
