BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Light, brilliant straw. Intense, restrained yet complex, mineral nose, with yellow fruits and flowers, fresh herbs, and flint undertones. Lively, clean, layered, salty palate. Long, lively finish. | 91

Andrew Jefford | Steel-gold. Creamy Polo mint over apricot fruit; intriguing. This clears a little with exposure to air, and we are left with fresh flowers and summer fruits. On the palate, this is a very serious effort, with admirable concentration and length and lots of fruited intricacies, too. The acidity is lively, fresh, even wealthy; it’s vinous. The fruit is concentrated and long. Outstanding Fiano, very skillfully vinified. | 90

Michael Palij | Obvious nose showing green apple, conference pear, dried herbs, and freshly baked bread. On the palate, this shows some tertiary notes (strange for 2018) of marzipan and ginger. This is not a wine of any great distinction, but it would provide very pleasant drinking over the short term. | 85
