Tim Atkin: Evolved, slightly cloudy appearance. The nose is not completely clean, with a murky, faintly grubby note. The palate is serious and quite concentrated, but the tannins and fruit are not well integrated. The finish is a little extracted 13
Nicolas Belfrage: Ruby, with beginnings of orange turn on the rim. Cherry and herb aromas on the nose, with a whiff of oak. Juicy and fruity on the palate, with nicely balanced acidity and lots of cherry and herb. Sweet ripe fruit on the finish, cut by medium-concentration tannin, which helps lend length. Good drinking, and should be fine for five years 15
