Nicolas Belfrage: Attractive mid-depth hue. Hinting at violets on nose. Firm acidity and tannins present, but the main plus is integrality of parts; good intensity without losing elegance. Very long, and it will develop and last in bottle- 17.5:

Bruno Besa: Bright garnet core to brick, yellow rim. Elegant, defined, restrained nose, with clean red fruit, orange peel, and hints of peaches and rose petals. Full body, with copious, classic Nebbiolo tannins well balanced by the elegant, clean red fruit. Long and intense to the end. Classic Barolo to drink in the next 10 years- 17.5:

Jancis Robinson: Mid-ruby, though not that clear. Light nose that’s quite evolved and a bit simple. Not very ambitious or lively. Checks boxes without really engaging the taster. Astringent finish. Drink 2015–20- 14 :
