Nicolas Belfrage: Attractive garnet, vinous and herbal nose. Good balance—acidity, tannin, fruit— the latter being of red-berry variety. Nice intensity on the palate without being overstated. Structured yet drinkable (almost)—from 2013 on- 16:

Bruno Besa: Bright garnet to tawny rim. Intense, open, small-red-fruit character; a touch onedimensional yet clean and defined medium to full body with fairly simple palate 14.5

Jancis Robinson: Dark crimson, with a rusty rim. Hightoned, piercing nose. Transparent and expressive. Dusty finish but could only be Piemonte. Lively and beefy and lots of pleasure. Very alive on the palate. Massively fruity palate entry and then a dry but not drying finish and a fan of flavors. A substantial wine. Very long. Drink 2015–27. 18
