Alex Hunt: Mocha-vanilla oak sweetness over vibrant brambly fruit aromas. Dynamic palate, still young, with a slightly sour edge but plenty of personality and drive. Appetizing, almost mineral finish - 15.5

Andrew Jefford: Dense, dark black-red in color. Sweet, warm, and vibrant: fragrant red fruits, with a gracefully floral back note: honeysuckle and jasmine. Syrah, presumably! On the palate, this is rich, close-textured, and long, with almost overwhelming fruit intensity and satiny (smooth yet dense) textures. Showy, even show-stopping wine, yet remarkable, too, for its aromatic force and textural density - 17
