BUY THE WINE

Alex Hunt: Lots of coffee-bean and dark chocolate aroma, as well as complex licorice, herbal, tar, and black-fruit notes. Very full and concentrated but with real purpose and line. High alcohol detracts slightly, but this is a wine of serious intent, retaining freshness despite some age - 16.5

Andrew Jefford: Saturated red-black in color. Warm, full, and engaging aromas: glowing red fruits with a light tobacco backdrop. Weighty, earthy, gutsy palate: lots there, though it is rather indigestibly assembled. Great raw materials, which would be even better with a little more calmness and finesse - 16
