Andrew Jefford: Pale to mid-gold in color. Slightly soupy aromatic profile led by relatively simple sweetness, without much depth and resonance. The palate, too, is simple, sweet, and short, without any vinosity or minerality. There is an acid-led concentration, but that can’t really make up for the higher virtues 11.5
Andreas Larsson: Green-apple aromas and hints of citrus. A hint of residual sugar on the palate, though the high acidity makes it feel close to dry. Clean, fresh, and well made, but no frills 12
Stephan Reinhardt: Greenish white color. Very attractive and balanced nose, dark berries and passion fruit, fresh and inviting. Piquant palate, quite racy (no problem for a German) yet balanced by a good concentration and mineral structure. Don’t touch it when you fear acidity, but go for it if you like just-ripe Sancerre or dry German Riesling below the grand cru level. Good fruity length; the residual sugar level is just right 16.5
