Andrew Jefford: Deep black-red. Vivid fresh fruits, but without a lot of focus or finesse; vague. Soft, rich, full, lush: the team have teased the ripeness to its maximum, and I’m glad they’ve done that, and it’s a sound strategy, but of course it can’t make up for the lack of concentration that the rainy summer has delivered. A delicious and generously fruited wine of straightforward style but with plenty of depth to enjoy over the short to medium term. 2018–25. 90
