Nicolas Belfrage: Medium deep. Vanilla and spicy fruit on the nose. Slightly medicinal nose (in the best way). More into savory than fruity on the palate, with hardish tannins for the moment covering fine, concentrated fruit flavors. Needs plenty of time but could blossom into something special. 18
Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to tawny. A touch rustic on the nose, with developed fruit and little finesse. A touch green on the palate, with a bitter finish. 14
Andrew Jefford: Dense, rich red-black. Warm, vivid, and expressive, but just a touch of kerosene here, which at the very least implies mixed ripeness. Deep, earthy, gutsy, full: a generous, wellconstituted wine, but nonetheless with a faintly green touch within the density, which mitigates my enthusiasm just a little. Plenty to get stuck into, though. 14.5
