AJ | Deep, clear black-red; translucent garnet at the rim. This is just a little dry and baked on the nose, without the same aromatic resource as the best of its peers. Juicy and full, but slightly coarse-grained. Excellent vineyards no doubt, which may come through with time, and I should also say that the acids are present and fully supportive; its just the aromatics and fruit tone which done quite sing for me. Super tannins, of course.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2034. 88
BB | Garnet to pink. Open, earthy, road tar, black fruits, spicy, forest floor nose. Full body with sweet, ripe black fruit. Rich, touch overripe finish.Drink Dates: 2025 - 2035. 91
MP | Rich, powerful, complex, aromatic, developed and obvious. The palate has red and black cherry, plum, pomegranate, and new oak notes of vanilla, cut wood and cedar. The palate shows obvious fruit concentration and yet the tannins dominate the wine and leave a dusty, drying note that detracts from the overall pleasure.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2027. 91
