BB | Deep ruby to pink. Open, complex, road tar, earthy, black fruits, smoked meets, touch decadent nose. Clean yet touch green palate, lively and long red fruits finish.Drink Dates: 2025 - 2030. 90
AJ | Dark black-red to garnet at the rim. Warm, earthy, plum and truffle: a 'fleshier' scent repertoire than many. Sweet, velvety, tender. On the palate, too, this is very amply fleshed, deep and boisterous, with generous, lip-smacking tannins. Exuberant, amply laden, ready for the mid-to-long haul and pleasure-bringing all the wayDrink Dates: 2026 - 2038. 92
MP | Curious nose combining vegetal notes of tobacco and tomato leaf with cocoa, cardamom, fig and caramel. The nose doesn't quite fit one's parameters for this DOCG and the palate is focussed and discreet with a sinewy core of tannins and acidity but lacking generosity of fruit.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2028. 89
