AJ | Deep black red though not opaque. Gentle, soft-focus aromatics with some freshening mixed ripeness on the fruit profile. Very light and straightforward wine. Easy to enjoy its open, curranty fruits and lively balance in the short term. Ready now and best soon. Drink Dates: 2027 - 2031. 84
SF | Ruby red, star bright, luminous. Aromas of rose petal, redcurrant and warm sand underline a fundamental elegance, a poetic disposition, underlined by a mouthfeel which has a lifted almost resinous charm, exceptionally fine tannins and a forward come-hither structure. From the more 'airean' end of the spectrum, no bad thing in a vintage such as this, this is an intriguing Berliquet and one which underlines future potential, Maybe a little more gravitas, in its most literal sense, in future? Drink Dates: 2027 - 2033. 90
