Nicolas Belfrage: Bright, some turn. Herbal, minty notes on otherwise undeveloped nose. Structure prevails over fruit at this stage; could be a sleeper, would depend on whether the fruit comes through the structure. Drink from 2019. 89
Bruno Besa: Light garnet to tawny. Clean and delicate nose, with vanilla and prune-like fruit. A touch dilute on the palate, clean and inviting yet a bit fragile. 86
Andrew Jefford: Clear deep red. Sweet, soft, warm, and open, with pure redcurrant and raspberry fruits. Texturally relatively light and very graceful: Brunello at its most Burgundian. This is not meant as faint praise; this is an impressively concentrated, dignified, and seamless wine of high quality and classicism. Certainly ready to drink now but will hold well for a few years. 88
