Alison Buchanan: Pale straw in color, this is a very stalky, herbaceous nose – rather green. This is reflected on the palate. Seems very simple and disappointing for a card–carrying Sancerre. Insipid and lacks fruit and direction. 12

Alex Hunt: Thin, peapod/green pepper nose. Furry, vegetable taste. The grapes just weren’t ripe. Poor. 6

Andrew Jefford: Pale gold. Odd, whisky–mash scents. Eccentric as wine. Lots of acidity, but once again that strange fermented–cereal fullness to it. Actually quite a nice drink, but lacks all purity and breed in a tasting of fine Sancerre. 10
