Alison Buchanan: Glittering light straw in color, this presents a rather leesy–rich, waxy nose and slightly blown fruit and floral notes. The apple and pear on the palate is ripe but reigned in by a massive and burgeoning mineral structure which claws at the fruit. Austere, it is hard to see where this will go. 11.5

Alex Hunt: Forthright grass and peach nose. Old–fashioned, slightly earthy style, but plenty of guts and cleansing acidity. 15.5

Andrew Jefford: Pale gold. Very classically sappy scents. Harmonious: some chlorophyll, some cream. Well–judged and appetizing. Brisk and incisive: the east wind whistles through this one. Best drunk young, when its youth helps lift the barely ripe fruit and give it some propulsion. Not great but good. 13.5
