Tim Atkin: Deep color, slightly soupy, good color, rich and concentrated. Masses of oak, concentrated, a little jammy, very ripe. Soft, sweetish, high alcohol; okay but a little lacking in definition. Pinotage? 15
Gerard Basset: Deep ruby-garnet. Pronounced nose. Mint and eucalyptus, cigar and cedar wood. Lean, with a ripe and thin texture, ripe tannin, lots of black fruit, and beautiful herbal notes; long finish. 17
Anthony Rose: Very dense youthful color; intensely aromatic and spicy, very youthful, almost brooding aromatic quality, lovely, fresh, rich, concentrated dark berry fruits; quality and well-crafted oak, intensely flavored with a slightly smoky edge and fine blackberry fruit; very juicy, rich and intense fruit, lovely succulence of texture, minerality and overall balance; immensely stylish wine with great potential for the future. More please. 18
