Tim Atkin: Deep color, some development. Leafy, ripe, some tomato skin; quite soft, fruit sweetness, soft tannins, sweet oak; possibly a little soupy but decently made. High alcohol, soft, slightly lacking in structure. 15.5
Gerard Basset: Medium-deep red-ruby. Reasonably pronounced. Black fruit, especially blackberry, with sweet spices. Powerful structure with ripe tannin, plum, blackberry and cinnamon; medium-long finish. 15
Anthony Rose: Deep color; very ripe on the nose, lots of sweet black fruits, quite oaky; quite firm acidity and tannin, well made if a tad forced, but overall good fruit. Light overacidification. 15.5
