Essi Avellan: Peach-toned color. Lovely toastiness lining the exuberantly fruity nose, lead by sweet, peachy fruit. Plush, softly bubbling palate, full of delicious Pinot fruit. Youthful and intense, but straightforward. Nice, brisk acidity and juicy length. 91

Simon Field: Straw color touched by dark grapes; a modest bead; the sugar levels recall gingerbread men, the autolytic development conspicuous by its absence; the finish is a little coarse and uninspired, freshness on the finish also absent. 85

Anthony Rose: Pale gold in color with just a hint of onion skin, this is a tad subdued in aroma, but the bubbles on the other hand are quite expansive in the mouth, spraying ripe berry-fruit flavors across the tongue with a nice sweet-savory fruitiness whose finish is quite firm and grippy, so definitely one for food. 89
