Andrew Jefford: Dark, deep black-red. A terrifically exciting, lifted, fresh-fruited aromatic profile packed with fine currant, cherry, and blackcurrant fruit, and with lovely graphite finesse behind that. Poised and ample on the palate, with slightly more freshness and push than the admirable aromatic profile suggested might be the case, but ample, long, texturally diverting, and with perfectly judged ripeness, length, and depth. Hard not to see this wine as a kind of bullseye for the vintage. 2018–28. 94
Michael Schuster: Ripe, minerally, lightly oak-marked nose; rich medium-full wine, fresh, and finely but firmly tannic; generous in flavor, a fine, sweet cassis Cabernet core, long, close-grained, and graceful across the palate, very long and gently fragrant to finish. Particularly fine, elegant, subtle Haut-Bailly. 2025–35+.93
