Michael Schuster | Ripe, almost citrusy fruit to smell; medium-full, fresh to lively in acidity, lightly dry in tannin; sweet-cored from the Merlot, easy, juicy, accessible, ripe, and fresh, with some complexity and very good length of aftertaste; exceptional Amiral, particularly fine-textured for the second wine, a lovely, refined St-Julien with remarkable persistence. Pretty gorgeous, and a wine that will be accessible early. 2025–35+.
