BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Pretty nose of violets, balanced palate, noble texture; the wine is of rare purity and precision (tasted blind). | 17.5

Michael Schuster | Lovely nose, fresh, perfumed, gently ripe-fruited, likely to make a very pretty bouquet; not a big wine, but graceful, fresh yet supple, with a very delicate tannin; ripe, long, and fine, all limestone plateau delicacy and finesse; there is the usual gentle minerally complexity and excellent length on the finish. Slightly austere at this stage, but this is complete and good. 2020–28. | 16.5
