Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Very fine sample, with racy and classic aromas of cedar, typical of Pauillac, and a dense, quite linear, texture marked by very high Cabernet Sauvignon for the cuvée. Long cellaring potential and a return to an openly Médoc style. | 17.5

Michael Schuster | Dark red; dense, rich, ripe, and minerally to smell; elegant, fresh, finely tannic, concentrated; generous, ripe, juicy, long, and close-grained to taste, gently spicy, always with the 2013 slight edge of freshness, but plenty of gravelly aromas to savor here and with fine fruit and aroma length. Not a big Cos, but a lovely middleweight. 2019–30. | 17
