BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Quite unique aromatic potential, apricot, citrus fruit, broad, full, long, gives the sense of well-ripened Semillon. A wine of character with a good future. | 16.5

Michael Schuster | You notice the high proportion of Semillon “fat” on the nose; this gives a richness to the palate, too, which is nicely concentrated behind a vigorous acidity; elegant, tensile, ripe yet restrained in flavor; subtle, long to taste and to finish. A touch of the year’s austerity, but discreet and fine; not grand, but very good. 2018–24. | 17
