Andrew Jefford | Dark red-black in color, though no longer opaque; garnet glints at the rim. Gravelly fresh and attractive, with warm stones and rummaged earth as well as the curranty fruits. Simple but true to the best regional profiles and affecting or appetizing as a consequence. Bright, fresh, smooth, open, and resonant. Little tannin, but a silty-salty-savory finish adds some intrigue and complexity. Fresh acidity, of course. | 88
Michael Schuster | Lightly Pessac-gravelly nose with an emerging ripe red and black fruit; light, fresh in acidity, lightly dry in tannin. Ripe red-fruit in flavor, of modest depth, but some length both to taste and to finish, and a clear touch of juiciness behind the overall more slender proportions. Good now; even more attractive in a couple of years. 2023 to 30+. | 87
