Essi Avellan: Deep cherry color. Sweet, vinous, unrefined, farmyardy nose, with red-berry character. Tannic and unforgiving, lacking sophistication and complexity. 13

Simon Field: Soft pink color and a nose of wild strawberry and soft cherry. The mouthfeel is extravagant, with rather a forceful mousse threatening to undermine the fruit beneath it. Cherry and forest floor once more to the fore, with a marginally clumsy finish to boot. 13.5

Tom Stevenson: Medium color; a bit oxidative on the nose but does not penetrate the palate. However, the fruit is a bit one-dimensional. 13.5
