BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane: Rich and ripe botrytis, excellent length, classical Sauternes in a vintage better suited to Barsac and chalky soils. 17.5

Thierry Desseauve: Classic gold. Floral and fruity, good balance, pleasant. 16

Michael Schuster: Mid-gold; closed, lightly oaky nose; a rich, supple yet fresh wine; intensely sweet, perhaps a touch dried by its oak for the moment, of moderate complexity, a clear gentle minerality and good, light length. Plenty of sweetness here, and attractive already. Now to 2025+. 16
