Jesús Barquín: Clean but simple. Dry and light, even lighter color than most. Lacking typicity, and shortish on the palate. A little orange peel in the nose and a touch of sweetness do not suffice to give it character. 12

Nicolas Belfrage: Quite deep color, almost opaque but still fairly youthful. Fig Newtons and blackberry jam on nose. Bittersweet palate, with good acidity and not-too-evident tannins. Dried and fresh fruits at play on the palate. A good example. 15.5

Andrew Jefford: Deep garnet red in color. Soft, dusty baked-cherry scents, with a little bit of volatility. Intense, sweet-edged, and deep, with lots of the baked-cherry flavors the aroma promised. Some balancing acidity; discreet tannins. Sound, ample, no fireworks, with a faintly acidulous edge (relative to the peer group). Enjoyable wine nonetheless. 12
