BUY THE WINE

Essi Avellan | Pale lemon-green. Stylishly restrained chalky mineral notes, with toasty undertones. Lemon, yellow apple, beeswax, and vanilla. Crisp and feisty on the tart, driven palate of long, lean length. Purely fruity, zesty, and energizing. | 94

Simon Field | Bright and seemingly youthful; a shimmering mousse. Serious nose: figs, mirabelle plum, hints of biscuit and jasmine, even. The palate maintains the theme: chalky strata, then figs, plum, honey, and white chocolate, soft spice behind it. A lovely, lively floral backdrop, firm acidity, and no lack of potential. Very neat indeed. | 94

Anthony Rose | A youthful pale lemony green in color, this shows fresh citrus-peel notes in its aromas, and it’s also youthfully fresh, elemental still. Citrusy in the mouth, crisp, distinctly fizzy, and refreshingly tangy, with some bittersweet phenolic notes in the texture, as a result of which it’s quite grippy. | 92
