Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | There’s energy in the tannins with a spicy, saline quality on the palate that ensures a nice future for this wine. | 16

Michael Schuster | A lovely nose of sweet ripe fruit; a fairly concentrated wine—in fruit—for the vintage, with a very well-managed light tannin, a beautiful balance; juicy, mouthwatering, delicate but not weak, with a subtle scope and a delicious length. A concentration of pure fruit, rather than a concentration of structure and matter. The oak is of such a fine grain that you barely notice the tannin even though the wine is raised in 100% new wood. Delightful. 2018–25. | 16.5
