Light, fresh cherry fruits in relatively simple, straightforward style, without the aromatic finesse of the best of its 2015 peers. The oak remains at one remove from the fruit. The palate reflects the aroma. It’s a high-quality wine with ample fruit intensity, but perhaps the oak integration could have been better managed, and aromatically it is straightforwardly sweet. | 89
