BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin | Bright, appealing, and aromatic nose. Fresh, light, and zesty palate, with tangy acidity, scented oak, pomegranate, and redcurrant fruit. Subtle, chalky, and refined, with high-altitude zip and minerality and a balanced, medium-bodied finish. Has the potential to age further in bottle. Complex. | 95

Simon Field | Brick-red at the rim. Behind that, a wine-dark sea of contemplation. Youthful, slightly soapy aromatic; then freesia, roses, and a hint of toffee apple. The palate is more sinewy, a touch raw, the tannic interface and an acetic backdrop both challenging and both, in all probability, destined to soften with time, ceding to a broader structural potential. | 89

Andrew Jefford | Deep, clear black-red. Vivid and lively plum and damson fruits: Warm, fresh, and enticing. A big shaft of vanilla to go along with that. Lively and fresh on the palate, and the plum and vanilla swim together attractively. The structure comes more from acidity than tannin, though both are in evidence, and the concentration is good: Thoroughly satisfactory. | 89
