Andrew Jefford | Mid- to deep gold. This is another wine that has a little funkiness, and for me funk and Riesling don’t mix. It’s a very minor element in the mix, though, and there is also apple and green plum and some ginger spice: other good things. Deep, dry, and intensely concentrated on the palate, with apple in the driving seat, and a slight apple- core rawness to it, though the concentration is impressive. Some dry bitterness on the end. | 90

Anthony Rose | Behind the pale golden hue, this is floral and stone-fruity in aroma, with a light prickle on the tongue and an appealing juicy stone-fruit quality to the fruit, supported by a citrus-zesty tang on the tongue and a mouthwatering textural quality. A streak of saltiness enlivens the fruit and brings an energetic dryness to the finish. | 92
